Guided Scramble - Tryfan North Ridge

Stepping up your adventures in the mountains takes another level of confidence and commitment. And what better way to enjoy these classic scrambles than with a qualified mountain leader, to help build your confidence and enjoy a full on mountain day!

We will start the day beneath the mighty North Ridge and start heading up the footpath that takes us past Milestone Buttress. Once on the shoulder, the footpath continues on to Heather Terrace, but we will pick our way up the broken ground and scramble up the ridge.

On our way we will encounter the famous cannon stone! As well as learning the skills to scramble safely, help safeguard the rest of the group, and learn about the mountain environment.

As we gained height, the scrambling intensifies, along with the views, before topping out on the summit of Tryfan, the smallest of the Welsh 3000ers.
