There is no obligation to book onto one of my navigation courses, however nothing beats a hands on approach under the watchful eye of an instructor among the hills and mountains themselves! 3: CONTOURS

Yes Tor, Dartmoor

The third course in navigation looks at contours in detail. You can consider this series as a stand alone series if you want to learn more about contours.

4: NAVIGATION STRATEGIES

Night navigation, Belstone Tor, Dartmoor

The final course in navigation looks at navigation strategies and putting it all together:

  • Part 1: The 4 D's and 5 What's

  • Part 2: Relocation

  • Part 3: Planning a route

  • Part 4: Putting it all together
