-
The Dewerstone (Situated in a temperate rain forest above the river Plym, not far from Ivybridge)
-
Leigh Tor (Tucked away off the Ashburton to Princetown road in the middle of the Moor. Surprisingly, not made of Granite!)
3-DAY LEARN TO LEAD
This 3-day learn to lead climb course on Dartmoor will get you started as a traditional climber. Develop your climbing skills and learn to place protection, build belays and progress up through the climbing grades. 3-days is a great amount of time to learn the skills to lead climb. It gives you time to practice the skills learnt and experience a few different crags and styles of climbing. Leading trad climbs is addictive! Once you have learnt to lead and led your first route, you only have yourself to blame for spending all your money on buying a rack and embarking on climbing trips across the country, and maybe the world!

5-DAY LEARN TO LEAD
A 5-day learn to lead course is an all intensive week of learning, leading and loving climbing! We will move around the crags throughout the week, developing skills on different crags, climbing loads and doing what every climber loves to do: place protection! There is no set itinerary for this week. We will go at your pace and climb where the weather is best. We may revisit a crag, go multipitch climbing, or even visit an indoor wall for a 'rest' day (or more than likely to dry off, warm up and drink coffee between climbing!).
