How many days and hours are the programs?
Each vacay in the English Immersion Weekends program consists of 24 total hours or more of scheduled formal instruction and informal but structured language-sharing activities. The exact program schedule is determined by your group's requirements or, in the case of open enrollment programs, the theme of the program.
The most typical experience begins Friday (a Thursday arrival is recommended) and ends Monday, but this length and the specific days can vary according to your group's needs or at the discretion of Palray Vacay.
We can also arrange "daycays" which are single day, structured language practice excursions or activities added to any program.
Why aren't all possible options listed online?
Prices vary simply because we customize your program around your needs.
We can arrange a custom vacay for your group during your specific dates.
Register for one of our already scheduled open-enrollment vacays (the dates and locations are coming soon for 2021 and 2022).

How can I arrange a custom Parlay Vacay?
If you (learners or educators) know at least six adults who need to improve their English and would enjoy a long weekend getaway in Arizona, you have a potential group. Ask around to see who would be interested. The people you ask may know others.
Survey the group: what style of getaways would interest them? Make suggestions based on our menu: some people may not imagine our ideas until you mention them.
Parlay Vacay features interactive activities in which lots of conversation can happen easily, so noisy and busy activities or activities which require lots of passive listening or total silence are not the best for this trip.
Where are the programs? Or can I choose a location?
Custom programs for your private group can be located almost anywhere throughout the continental US.
Open-enrollment programs in 2021 and beyond will be located in the southwestern USA in the state of Arizona. We choose locations in the Phoenix, Tucson, and Flagstaff metro areas because the state's major airports are located in these cities. Arizona's various elevations provide a range of temperatures with low humidity year-round as well as a wide selection of landscapes.
