This Indoor to Outdoor climbing course on Dartmoor is designed to take you from indoor climbing to climbing on rock outdoors. Learn the skills to move efficiently on rock, choosing a route from a guidebook, how outdoor grades differ from indoors and how to climb safely outdoors.
By the end of this course, you will have learnt the skills to transfer your indoor experience to outdoor rock climbing, gained experience on rock by climbing loads and be inspired to climb more outdoors.
Instructor Tip:
" Use a rope mat/bag or a small piece of foam to stand on at the base of a route to keep your shoes clean before climbing. A small towel is also useful to clean your shoes before setting off! Clean shoes improves friction and reduces damaging the route. "
