A warm welcome to you and thank you for visiting AT THE EDGE MOUNTAINEERING.

I specialise in teaching mountaineering and climbing skills which includes navigation, mountain safety, scrambling, single pitch climbing and many more. I have a lot of experience and lots more knowledge! This is my passion, to infuse others with the skills and knowledge that I possess and to introduce others to the mountain environment.

My aim is to not only teach you the skills required to enjoy the British mountains, but to help you develop upon these skills. Teacher, Instructor, Guide, Friend. I aim to INSPIRE you for your next adventure. Help you to ACHIEVE your goals. To DEVELOP your skills and abilities. And to help you PROGRESS onto bigger adventures in your future as a mountaineer and climber.

In order to ensure your safety in the mountains, and to give a little back, 5% of your course fee will be donated to the Mountain Rescue Team in the area(s) we will be operating in!

All of my courses are run by myself, Chris Cowdrey, a fully qualified and experienced mountain leader and rock climbing instructor, in a professional, friendly and safe manner. I'll leave you with one bit of advice that has helped me along my journey:

I will then send a detailed booking form and all the relevant information to you as well as payment details. A 25% deposit will be required to guarantee your place on the course. Please read the TERMS AND CONDITIONS before making payment.
